More information

The cradle of Spanish

Spain is a country with thousands of years of culture and history. Choosing to study in Spain means living in the cradle of the Spanish language, the second most spoken language in the world. It is the language of Cervantes, the author of Don Quixote and also the language in which Federico Garcia Lorca and Nobel Prize winners Camilo Jose Cela (1989) and Mario Vargas Llosa (2010) have written their works.

Spain has a wealth of artistic and architectural heritage as a result of the different civilizations that have left their mark over the centuries. In the field of art, painters who stand out are Velazquez, Goya and Picasso, whose works are exhibited in the Prado, the Reina Sofia and the Thyssen museums.

Los Sauces School Residence

The magic of Galicia

Students who take part in this programme will live in our School Residence in Los Sauces Pontevedra, which is located in Galicia, in the northwest of Spain. This region of Spain is on the Atlantic Ocean and has cities of great both cultural and industrial relevance.

Los Sauces Pontevedra is in an area of great natural beauty and thanks to the variety of landscapes students can take up many different sporting activities. The school is very close to the city of Santiago de Compostela, the final stop for the pilgrims who do the Camino.
